Safety and effectiveness of intraoperative radiotherapy with low energy X-rays as radiological treatment using low energy X–ray performed for the purpose of treatment and prevention of recurrence of various cancers were assessed.
Authors' recommendations:
Intraoperative Radiotherapy with Low Energy X-rays was assessed as a technology at a stage that requires further research due to lack of evidences on its effectiveness, although there is no safety problem.
