Authors' recommendations: Study found improved hearing with BAHAs compared with bone conduction hearing aids or no aiding, however, exploratory analysis suggested that their cost-effectiveness was less clear. Further research on the benefits of BAHAs is required to improve the poor-quality evidence available and to clarify uncertainties.
