These guidelines review the current status and future needs of haemopoietic stem cell transplantation in Australia. Development of the guidelines included a comprehensive literature review of progress, outcomes, costs and resource usage relating to haemopoietic stem cell transplantation, evaluation or registry data on use and outcome and determination of projected caseloads.
