Authors' recommendations: A review of the literature published since our previous report contains no evidence that suggests the use of Matrix coils will have superior clinical outcomes to GDC.There is therefore no reason to change the previous recommendation that the purchase of matrix coils for routine management of cerebral aneurysms is not recommended.
