Authors' objectives:
To describe the process of performing health technology assessment reports. To offer a selection of useful sources of information, checklist for critical appraisal of medical literature and other tools for evaluating technologies in health care. To propose a standardized structure for HTA reports. This guide intends to offer tools and proposals for improving the quality and impact of HTA reports, as well as enhancing discussions among the organisations involved in HTA in order to obtain agreements about the structure and practice of elaborating HTA reports.
