Authors' objectives:

To study the effectiveness and appropriate use of radiotherapy for patients with cancer in Sweden. The questions addressed in this report are:Is radiotherapy, the way it is used in Sweden, in agreement with or divergent to what is proved in actual scientific literature?Is radiotherapy treatment appropriate for the actual tumour form? If yes of which type and to what extent?60-70 percent of the tumour forms, where radiotherapy or brachytherapy are routine treatments, will be covered by the literature study.
