The goal of light and laser treatment is to diminish the signs and symptoms associated with rosacea (without evidence of rhinophyma, phymatous, ocular, or variant manifestations of rosacea), such as flushing (transient redness), persistent redness, papules and pustules, and telangiectasias (dilated superficial blood vessels).
