Authors' objectives:
Active immunization with a hepatitis A vaccine is one of the primary methods of preventing and controlling hepatitis A infection. The goal of active vaccination is to induce the production of serum-neutralizing antibodies that protect the individual from hepatitis A infection. In addition to providing long-term protection for the individual against infection, the vaccine has the potential to effectively control the spread of this disease in the community.
