Authors' objectives: Work package 7 of EUnetHTA is subdivided into two strands: The development of a structured information service relevant to policy makers on high-volume, costly and rapidly developing emerging technologies, is the task of WP 7/strand B. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with EUROSCAN. On the basis and experiences of existing "emerging tech"- programmes (part 1) structures and processes for setting priorities in the selection of technologies as well as a first pilot newsletter will be developed, which after critical evaluation by the WP partners will be distributed on a regular basis after 2008.
