Authors' objectives:

The objective of this study was to determine which one-level or two-level intersomatic fusion method yields the best clinical and radiological results in patients with degenerative disc disease.

Authors' recommendations: The low quality of these trials prevents extensive review conclusions. More studies with better methodology and reports are necessary. There should be a more general agreement among researchers in which the result parameters should be used to evaluate the procedures of anterior cervical fusion.
