The aim of the monitorized use (MU) of the 18FDG-PET is to know the efficacy and effectiveness of this technology regarding the habitual diagnostic procedures (morphological and/or functional imaging techniques), as well as to assess its utility and clinical impact through its contribution and influence in the clinical and therapeutic management of patients in certain clinical situations.
