The aim of this literature review was to assess the effectiveness, safety, and cost effectiveness of EECP for the treatment of refractory stable Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) class III/IV angina or heart failure (HF).
Authors' recommendations:
There is insufficient evidence to support the effectiveness and safety of EECP treatment for patients with refractory stable CCS III-IV angina or HF.
