Original Title:
Hemmet som vårdplats – faktorer som kan främja respektive hindra en god och säker vård i hemmet
Authors' objectives:
In this project, SBU examines factors that may promote or hinder the delivery of safe, high-quality care when healthcare is provided to individuals living in their own homes. An increasing number of people with increasingly complex care needs receive healthcare in the home. This development is driven by demographic changes, particularly an aging population, as well as by medical and technological advances. A defining characteristic of care provided in ordinary housing is that it is delivered in environments that are not purpose-built for healthcare provision.
