Authors' objectives:

Endovascular occlusion therapy using electrolytically detachable coils and/or stents is intended as an alternative to surgical treatment for patients diagnosed with an unruptured or ruptured intracranial aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm. The objective of this therapy is to occlude blood flow to the vascular lesion by using implantable endovascular coils and/or stents that are percutaneously deployed within the aneurysm.
