Authors' objectives:

Computerized corneal topography, also known as videokeratography, can be used for the determination of the shape, curvature, and depth of the cornea. A video camera, coupled to a computer equipped with specialized software, scans the cornea and makes thousands of measurements of the inside and outside surface, from which a map of the cornea is generated. This map can be used for the diagnosis and management of corneal diseases, planning for corneal surgery, and evaluation of postoperative results.
