Authors' objectives:
This project is a government assignment that will result in a knowledge compilation on deimplementation. The assignment includes mapping research about methods and factors that can facilitate deimplementation, as well as developing guidance for healthcare providers and other relevant stakeholders. The knowledge compilation will present research on deimplementation and low-value care at the level of systematic reviews.
The work is carried out with the support of four experts and in collaboration with the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) and the Swedish Medical Society’s working group for Choosing Wisely (Kloka kliniska val).
