Efficacy/effectiveness of prolozone or PEMF in treating shoulder or back strain as well as disc herniation

Authors' objectives: To determine whether there is any evidence on the efficacy/effectiveness of prolozone or PEMF in treating (shoulder or back) sprain or strain as well as on disc herniation.
Authors' results and conclusions: No published study was identified in initial searches but there were some published studies identified in a subsequent search. However, upon examination on the titles and abstracts of these published studies, none were relevant to the objective of this systematic review. To date, there is no published study reporting the efficacy/effectiveness of prolozone in treating sprain/strain (of any body part). To date, there is no published study reporting the efficacy/effectiveness of prolozone in treating disc herniation. To date, there is no published study reporting the efficacy/effectiveness of PEMF in treating sprain/strain (of any body part). To date, there is no published study reporting the efficacy/effectiveness of PEMF in treating disc herniation.
Authors' methods: A comprehensive and systematic literature search was done on November 1, 2022. The search was done on commercial medical literature databases employing a combination of key words.
