Authors' objectives: The Central Denmark Region has submitted an evaluation proposal regarding percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) treatment for patients with osteoporotic fractures in one or more vertebrae. PVP is a stabilizing procedure in which bone cement is injected into the affected vertebrae to stabilize the vertebra and alleviate pain.
