This Assessment will review the available evidence to determine if, when compared with placebo or conventional treatments such as surgery or medical management, percutaneous intradiscal radiofrequency thermocoagulation improves health outcomes (e.g., relief of pain, improvement in function) in patients with chronic discogenic low back pain.
