Original Title: Determinación de diamino oxidasa en Intolerancia a la histamina
Authors' recommendations: Very-low quality evidence does not allow to draw conclusions on the potential clinical or diagnostic benefits of dosing and testing intestinal and/or plasma diamine oxidase activity or testing the gene mutations encoding diamine oxidase to diagnose histamine intolerance. The information analyzed includes only one clinical practice guideline that mentions testing intestinal diamine oxidase and its activity, although it does not recommend its use for this indication. No public and/or private health funders have been found to include this technology among its coverage policies. No cost-effectiveness studies have been found in our county or any other low or high-income countries.
