Very low-quality evidence does not allow to draw conclusions on the effectiveness of
ultrasound therapy for scar tissue.
No clinical practice guidelines have been found that consider the use of this technology among the therapeutic alternatives for scar tissue.
Among the coverage policies surveyed, no state or private funders that provided coverage have been found.
In the information analyzed, no economic evaluations or budget impact studies were found.
Since the quality of the evidence found was considered very low, its cost-effectiveness could not be determined.
