Authors' objectives: This health evidence review assesses the clinical effectiveness and economic impact of various vascular risk reduction (VRR) initiatives that have been implemented in Alberta, and promising new initiatives, to inform priority-setting decisions regarding risk-reduction initiatives. The assessment also examines the clinical benefit that future projects would need to achieve for them to be cost-effective in the Alberta context.
