Original Title:
Sistema flash para monitoreo de glucemia en pacientes con diabetes mellitus
Authors' recommendations:
High quality evidence shows that the flash glucose monitoring system, patient version, when compared with the self-monitoring system with reactive strips, decreases time with low glucose levels and increases patient satisfaction with treatment. This benefit has been observed both with type 2 diabetes patients under intensive insulin therapy and type 1 diabetes patients, although there is no evidence that it would improve glycated hemoglobin levels in these patients or their quality of life.
