English
Authors' objectives: Psychological interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), are increasingly integrated in treatment approaches for chronic pain, but barriers such as limited availability and cost of treatment may hamper access to these therapies in their traditional, face-to-face format. Internet-based delivery of this care is increasingly being considered as an option to help address issues related to access. CADTH is undertaking a review of the evidence to assess whether internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT) should be offered as an option to help improve access to CBT in care delivery for chronic non-cancer pain.
