Updated on 19 June, 26 June, 3, 10, 17, 24 July, 6 and 20 August, 3 September, 13 November 2020, 14 January, 5 and 17 February, 16 March, 22 April,13 May, 18 June, 16 July, 10 August,10 September, 6 October and 21 December 2021. To inform guidance development by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) and decision making by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET), HIQA is undertaking an ongoing rapid review of guidance for residential care facilities in the context of COVID-19. The review summarises recommendations that have been issued internationally to limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect healthcare workers and residents. This version includes new guidance from the Ireland, England, Scotland, New South Wales, and New Zealand.
