Drugs for the management of rheumatoid arthritis
Authors' objectives:
The objective of this review is to assess the benefits and harms of drugs used in adult
patients with moderate to severe RA in whom treatment with MTX has failed or who are intolerant to MTX.
The research question was: What is the comparative clinical efficacy and safety of
csDMARD therapies (alone or in combination), biologics (including biosimilars), and
tsDMARDs in adult patients with moderate to severe RA in whom treatment with MTX has failed or who are intolerant to MTX?
