Treatments for locally advanced oropharyngeal cancer: a systematic review of clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness

Authors' objectives: This systematic review aims to compare the clinical effectiveness of primary surgical therapy (with or without adjuvant radiation and chemotherapy) with primary chemoradiotherapy (with or without salvage surgery) for locally advanced oropharyngeal cancer. The cost-effectiveness of the two treatment strategies will also be examined.
