Original Title: Radioterapia guiada por imágenes en tumores hepáticos y de pulmón
Authors' recommendations: Very low quality evidence does not allow to draw conclusions on the potential superiority of image-guided radiation therapy in liver and lung tumors when compared with other types of non-image guided radiation therapy. Some of the Clinical Practice Guidelines consulted do not consider its use and others recommended in certain cases, e.g., tumors experiencing greater mobility and/or tumors close to critical structures. Among the health funders consulted, the state funder and two private funders from the US cover this procedure associated with modulated intensity radiation therapy. Others do not mention or cover it in their coverage policies or cover it only if it is not more expensive than other types of radiation therapy. No cost-effectiveness studies have been found in Argentina.
