Original Title: Discoplastía percutánea con cemento en escoliosis degenerativa del anciano
Authors' recommendations: CONCLUSIONS No evidence comparing percutaneous cement discoplasty for the treatment of degenerative scoliosis in the elderly with medical treatment or other surgical technologies has been found. Very poor-quality evidence does not allow estimating the usefulness of percutaneous cement discoplasty in elder patients with degenerative scoliosis. The clinical practice guidelines consulted do not mention this technology. The coverage policies from United States and Europe public and private health payers do not mention cement discoplasty. Latin American coverage policies consulted do not mention or cover it either.
