Authors' recommendations: CONCLUSIONS Very low-quality evidence does not allow drawing conclusions about the benefits of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers in lipoatrophy associated to antiretroviral therapy. No evidence of its use in other skin conditions other than cosmetic use has been found. No clinical practice guidelines including it as therapy for any particular skin condition have been found. None of the health sponsors consulted covers this technology. No cost-effectiveness studies or budget impact analysis in Argentina have been found.
