Original Title: Laboratorio de la marcha instrumentado en pacientes con trastornos de la marcha
Authors' recommendations: CONCLUSIONS Very low quality evidence does not allow estimating the usefulness of the gait laboratory in patients with gait disorders. Some clinical practice guidelines suggest its usefulness when planning surgeries in children and adolescents with cerebral palsy and adults with brain injury as well as in patients over 65 who have been detected gait abnormalities on clinical assessment. Most coverage policies from public and private sponsors in the United States and Europe consulted do not mention or cover the technology; however some of them do, especially before surgery in patients with cerebral palsy. The Latin American coverage policies consulted do not mention or cover this technology.
