Original Title: Criobiopsia pulmonar en el diagnóstico de enfermedad pulmonar intersticial difusa
Authors' recommendations: CONCLUSIONS Very low quality evidence suggests that lung cryobiopsy in diffuse interstitial lung disease diagnosis might have a lower mortality than videothorascopic lung biopsy, although with a lower diagnostic accuracy and a higher number of mild to moderate complications. The clinical practice guidelines consulted mention cryobiopsy and consider it as a potential less invasive alternative in patients at high surgical risk. No coverage policies mentioning this technology have been found.
