Original Title: Cirugía guiada por planeamiento virtual preoperatorio
Authors' recommendations: CONCLUSIONS No evidence was found on the use of preoperative virtual planning assisted surgery that considers results such as mortality or morbidity in resection of central nervous system tumors or bone tumors, or in joint replacement surgeries or maxillofacial surgeries. The evidence found on the use of this technology is of very low quality and does not allow determining any other type of benefit such as shorter surgery times or accuracy on margin resection or adjacent tissue lesion when compared with other surgeries assisted by conventional imaging. No clinical practice guidelines or coverage policies related to this technology have been found.
