The health technology assessed is a device for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The objective of this assessment was to evaluate the relative effectiveness and safety of this technology in contrast to the traditional revascularisation strategies PCI using permanent metallic stents and coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG).
