To compare the chemotherapy treatment with radiotherapy to surgery in terms of effectiveness (survival, function, quality of life) and safety (complications).
Authors' results and conclusions:
The surgery followed by radiotherapy provides better overall and disease free survival than treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
