Original Title: Trasplante de microbiota fecal en infección recurrente por Clostridium difficile
Authors' objectives: To determine the effectiveness, in terms of resolution at short and long term, and the safety, in terms of adverse events and complications, of faecal microbiota transplantation against recurrent C. difficile infections.
Authors' results and conclusions: Fecal microbiota transplantation for treatment of recurrent C. difficile infection could be an effective and safe procedure, but the methodological problems of the studies reviewed do not allow developing recommendations on their use in clinical practice (evidence level 1+ and 2+).
