Original Title: Test multidiana de ADN en heces para el cribado de cáncer colorrectal. Revisión Sistemática
Authors' objectives: A systematic review was performed to determine the efficacy (diagnostic validity and precision), and the effectiveness (mortality or survival) of multitarget stool DNA testing.
Authors' results and conclusions: Multitarget DNA stool test is a screening test non-invasive and safe that has proven effective in terms of validity and diagnostic accuracy with sensitivity higher than 90 % for colorectal cancer and values around 50 % for advanced precancerous lesions. No evidence of results in terms of mortality or survival.
