The overall objective of the present document is the harmonization and optimization of structures and processes in order to facilitate high quality management of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) during the acute phase of care. This document presents quality standards recommended for Québec, based on a review of the scientific literature and consensus work with a committee of clinical experts.
