Authors' recommendations:
There is moderate quality evidence indicating that the Endobutton® cortical suspension fixation device for anterior cruciate ligament graft would have clinical benefits comparable to those obtained with interferential screws. Scarce moderate quality evidence would indicate similar results for the Retrobutton® device. No clinical practice guidelines were identified recommending fixation devices for ligament-plasty. Only one coverage policy identified mentions the devices to be used in this type of surgical intervention, covering Endobutton®.
