Authors' objectives: To assess the adverse events of Sippy Cup use among infants in relation to milk aspiration and oral development such as tooth decay, protruding teeth and speech delay.
Authors' recommendations: There was no retrievable evidence on the adverse events related to the use of Sippy Cup among infants in term of milk aspiration and oral development such as tooth decay, protruding teeth and speech delay. Based on the above review, the risks of using Sippy Cup among infants cannot be ascertained. More clinical research is recommended.
