Authors' objectives:
myPlan™ is a test which helps doctors decide what treatment to use in people with the most common type of lung cancer. The myPlan™ test looks at the patterns of 46 genes in lung tumour samples. This is combined with other information about the tumour to give a score which helps judge how likely the patient is to die within the next five years. The doctor can then use this information to decide the best course of treatment.
