RhythmView™ system for cardiac arrhythmias
NIHR HSRIC
Record ID 32016000477
English
Authors' objectives:
The RhythmView™ system tests for abnormal electrical activity in the heart which can affect how blood is pumped around the body. A basket shaped flexible wire is placed into the heart and uses computer software to find this abnormal electrical activity. The system is then used to destroy the small areas of heart tissue where the abnormal activity is found. This technology will allow doctors to decide on the most appropriate treatment.
