Authors' objectives: The Inreda system is a bi-hormonal artificial pancreas device that has been developed by Inreda Diabetic for the treatment of patients with insulin dependent Type 1 diabetes. The company state the device is intended for continuous use at home to provide automatic administration of both insulin and glucagon, when needed.
