                Authors' objectives:
                The Permaseal Access and Closure device developed by Micro Interventional Devices Inc, is intended to provide soft tissue approximation during general and cardiovascular procedures. One significant indication for Permaseal is to provide access and closure during transapical transcatheter structural heart repair procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
