The evidence found on Tecar therapy for the management of osteoarticular lesions is scarce and of low methodological quality. There is not enough evidence to be able to determine whether Tecar therapy is superior or at least non-inferior to standard physical therapy treatments. No health technology assessment documents, clinical practice guidelines or coverage policies have been found mentioning its use in patients with osteoarticular lesions.
