Authors' objectives: The aim of this project is to update the KCE 2004 guideline for antenatal care in low-risk women with a particular attention to emerging clinical questions. It was decided to focus on low-risk pregnant women, i.e. women who do not have identified risk factors, known pre-existing conditions or complications requiring additional tests or adapted management. The main scope of this guideline was also delineated and focuses on the monitoring and the follow-up of pregnant women including: - Schedule of antenatal visits - Clinical examination - Technical examination - Haematologial assessment - Screening tests for infections - Screening for maternal clinical problems - Screening for specific pregnancy related risks
