Non-mydriatic retinal photography (NMP) in persons with diabetes

Authors' recommendations: NMP is a non-contact, non-invasive [digital] imaging technique that provides images of the retina and optic disc. NMP provides a means for earlier detection of diabetic retinopathy and vision loss in people with diagnosed diabetes who do not attend an eyecare practitioner for a mydriatic fundus assessment.
