Choline PET and PET-CT for suspected recurrent prostate cancer

Record ID 32015000322
English
Authors' objectives: Choline positron emission tomography (PET) and choline positron emission tomography–computed tomography (PET-CT) are diagnostic imaging techniques used to locate sites of disease. The PETCT combination allows for simultaneous analysis of the precise anatomical and morphological images generated by CT and the 3-dimensional, volumetric functional assessment of metabolic radiotracer uptake obtained with PET.
