Authors' recommendations: Limited evidence has shown that SGB may provide an effective treatment in reducing the frequency and severity of hot flashes in post-menopausal women and in women with breast cancer in the short term. Larger sham controlled trials are needed to confirm the findings. There is no evidence on cost-effectiveness of CBG and guidelines associated with its use are lacking.
