Lifestyle prescriptions: a review of the clinical evidence

CADTH
Record ID 32015000280
English
Authors' recommendations: The evidence base for the use of formal physical activity (PA) prescription as a singular intervention to promote PA in a population at risk for chronic disease is limited and was judged to be of low methodological quality. Thus, it remains uncertain whether a PA prescription by itself can effectively promote increased PA.
